Absences · Please notify the Instructor about planned vacations or absences one week in advance by completing the vacation absence form. · Class attendance is a vital part of the Kumon Program. Observing students at work in class greatly assists in the planning process for that student. · We also prefer to introduce new concepts in class so we may assist your child in reaching his/her Kumon goals. · If a student is unable to attend class, please call the Center by 10:00 a.m. · This will allow us time to make adjustments to the student’s plan and prepare the work to be picked up. · Please be advised that after 2 consecutive absences, no new homework will be assigned until the student comes to class and returns all outstanding homework. · Only pre-arranged exceptions are allowed. |
|
Emergency Closings In case of extreme weather conditions, please call the Center to arrange for homework pick-up. If there is an emergency Center closing, there will be a message on the Center answering machine. We will follow the local school districts closing for extreme conditions. |

The Center will operate* on TWO days a week as per the schedule below;
· Class is available twice a week for ½ hour per subject. Students are expected to complete daily worksheets at home and at the Center · It is expected that students arrive early enough to allow time to complete their class work, at least 30 minutes prior to the end of class time for one subject and 60 minutes for two subjects on Center days · Junior Kumon students will be given particular slots for the subjects they are enrolled in and they are expected to come during those hours only.
* The operating schedule may change to accommodate the need as and when needed. |
